As we approach the winter months, we would like to take a moment to thank everyone who participated in our 2017 Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. We love that you are interested in knowing where your food comes from and we want you to know that we value your support.
Educating community members about growing food and caring for the land is one of the most rewarding aspects of the work that we do and the CSA program provides a solid foundation for this work. This year we enjoyed hosting classes and student groups from Gettysburg College as well as community volunteers and summer camps. We also had two amazing work shares – Angelique and Evan, Beth, & Harmony. And, as you know, Sophie & Ali, our two student interns, rocked it during the summer months. We were also excited to host our first wwoofers through the WWOOF-USA program. You can check out a brief interview filmed by a WWOOF-USA ambassador HERE.
Many thanks to all of YOU for helping to make these experiences possible. And thank you for giving us the opportunity to share the work that we value and the fruits of our labor with you.
We hope that you stay cozy over the winter months and we hope to see you come spring!
