Bread from Bakewell Farm

2017 CSA Bread Shares

Download a Bread Share Form HERE

We’re pleased to offer an 8 week bread share through Bakewell Farm! This 8 week share is offered the 4 weeks of June and the 4 weeks of July. You can purchase a weekly or biweekly share. If you have a biweekly share and choose a weekly share, your share will be delivered to your normal pick-up location on your “off” week. If you have a weekly share and would like to purchase a biweekly bread share, you can choose the delivery dates.

With every share, you will receive one loaf of organic pain au leavain. The loaves are scaled at two lbs and bake to about 1 3/4 lbs. They are sourdough with a 15% whole wheat & 5% whole rye addition. This is a fairly typical formula for a pain au levain style loaf, not as fulsome as a higher whole grain mixture but possesses a lighter texture in the crumb. Good keeping qualities and versatile.
