July Volunteer Day
Many thanks to everyone who helped out yesterday – the garden looks great after all of the weeding that was done and about 75 % of our crops are now irrigated! As soon as the pond liner arrives, we’ll be moving forward with the pond construction. Our next volunteer day will be Sat., August 6th.

And we enter our third week of the season, still lots of greens! For anyone who didn’t try the Mâche/Spinach and Avocado Salad with Tortilla Strips last week, I recommend it! I used bunching onions in the place of shallots & and topped the salad with crumbled corn chips – I imagine the tortilla strips…
