Yesterday I harvested the last of the parsnips (I’d almost forgotten them!) and some greens- they’re especially delicious this time of year! I wish I had enough to share but who knows, maybe we’ll have a winter share to offer in a few years.
Also, today I checked on our status over at Rain Bird and I want to thank everyone who has been voting! In just 3 days we’ve moved from #15 to #9 and we’ve gotten over 250 votes. But we still have a long ways to go if we’re going to make it to one of the top three slots (the $10,000 award goes to the three applicants with the most votes). We need 1600 votes just to catch up! So please keep voting. Remember, you can vote once a day.
For those of you who are willing to commit to voting once a day, I’m offering a pack of three Amazing Heart Farm notecards in appreciation of your efforts. Simply send me an e-mail at amazingheartfarm@comcast.net with your name and address, I’ll send you a daily reminder to vote and you’ll receive a pack of notecards in March regardless of whether or not we win.
Once again, thanks for your support with this project!
Elizabeth
Dear Elizabeth and Bill,
Your web page is great. Too bad voting can’t be a more user- friendly, simple process with a big button right at the top of your web-page that says “Push here to vote”
I’m sure you would get a lot more votes that way. As it is the voting process is too much like work. I guess I’ve been retired too long.
I did vote once. At least I think I did, but I can’t remember how I did it. Maybe I’m just too old for these new-fangled gadgets like computers.

Bill – Voting is a little easier if you use this link which takes you directly to the right project: http://www.iuowawards.com/Projects.aspx?ProjectKey=1053349c-d2e5-4865-b86b-07745e1cdea4
I hope this helps!
Hi Anna – Thanks for the link! I thought there must be a link that went to the site directly. I just couldn’t figure it out. So thank you!
