A dear friend and excellent Feldenkrais teacher is offering a workshop on Effortless Gardening on April 16th at Synergy Massage & Wellness Center. For those of you who don’t head over the mountain too often, it’s definitely worth the trip. Please be in touch if you’d like to carpool.
For those of you who live in the Waynesboro area, I also encourage you (gardener or not) to check out Bob’s weekly Feldenkrais workshops on Wednesdays from 11-12 noon. For only $10, you will be guided through a series of easy-to-do movement explorations which help the muscular and nervous systems work together more harmoniously. These simple yet powerful lessons are beneficial for those with all degrees of ability from active athletes to the physically impaired. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing. many, many, MANY moons ago when i was in physical therapy school, we had a 73 yo woman come and give us a class on feldenkrais. she was so flexible and moved with such fluidity and grace, none of us could stop gaulking… wish i lived closer! 🙂
