Mark Your Calenders!

(

Please join us once again in kicking off the 2013 CSA season with poems and music by Will Lane! We will have a potluck dinner, followed by a “living room concert” (hopefully on the front porch this year, weather cooperating) of songs and poems of protest and praise exploring the human-earth relationship.

WHERE: Amazing Heart Farm
WHEN: Friday April 26th at 6pm
WHAT TO BRING: a place setting and something delicious to share
RSVP to Elizabeth at amazingheartfarm@comcast.net

“Those money boys are hard to see
When they put their whammy on you and me.
Get in their way, you might land in jail,
And then you’d have a tale to tell
‘bout dancing the blue planet waltz.”
–Will Lane, Blue Planet Waltz

“An honest voice/begins in the toes/ feeling the floor.”

Also, we’re excited to let everyone know that we’ll be accepting donations for Painted Turtle Farm, the Gettysburg College student run garden that is transitioning to a campus-community hub for food justice. This expansion will enable the land to be used as a training ground for students and immigrant families to work together to grow food, exchange knowledge and learn to market the produce for sale. They’re in need of tools to kick off their 2013 growing season so if you’d like, please bring a few dollars to donate to the cause!

We hope to see you there-

Elizabeth

Spot on with this write-up, I really think this site needs far more consideration. I’ll in all probability be again to read much more, thanks for that information.

  4. Hi Elizabeth,

David and I sent an rsvp for the potluck  but we learned yesterday that we will have to be in the Silver Spring area on Friday because of family.   Consequently, we will not be able to be at the potluck.

    Thank you for the invitation,

    Linda Peters
