Ana’s Massaged Kale Salad


Ana made a delicious kale salad for our Solstice Potluck this weekend. For those of you who missed it (or are craving some more), here’s the recipe:


  • 1 large bunch of kale
  • olive oil
  • lemon juice (we used the juice of 2-3 lemons)
  • salt
  • nutritional yeast (optional)
  • toppings (we used cranberries & cucumbers)


  1. Wash and derib the kale.IMG_6792
  2. Combine olive oil, lemon juice and salt (to taste) to make a dressing for the kale salad.
  3. Massage the dressing into the kale leaves.
  4. Add in nutritional yeast and mix well.
  5. Toss in the toppings.
  6. . . . and Voila! You have a delicious kale salad.
  7. Enjoy!
